How to Make a Hemp Necklace

You will need 3 strands of hemp. Tie the 3 strands at the top, leaving 3 inches of extra to make the clasp hole. The center strand will hold the beads & be a little longer than your neck. The other two (blue & red) will be used to make the knots and need to be 3 times longer than your neck.

BLACK: BEAD STRAND
Never moves. Holds beads.
Must be tight- secured maybe
between belt loop and toe?
Or clipboard and nail?

BLUE: OUTSIDE STRAND
Must be measured to be 3 times the
desired length of the finished piece.

RED: OUTSIDE STRAND
Will Rotate with blue if you want a flat macrame. Also 3 times longer.
